What is The Circle of Abby?

This group is designed to help, motivate, and challenge one’s thinking pattern in Christ through group sessions, prayer & share, and other communicable activities. This is not a church and do not claim to take the place of one. Therefore, it is strongly suggested that everyone attend a Bible believing church where they can be feed spiritually on a regular basis. This is strictly for additional spiritual growth in one’s Christian walk with Christ.

How did The Circle of Abby come about?

The scripture text that is taken for the name of the group comes from I Samuel Chapter 25. This chapter speaks of King David and a woman by the name of Abigail who through her unwavering faith saved her household and eventually became David’s wife. Verse 41 (which is the scripture around the head of the logo) is the key scripture. “And she arose, and bowed herself on her face to the earth, and said, Behold, let thine handmaid be a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.” The group leader, Minister Erica Faison received this scripture from the Lord on her way back from a women’s engagement that she spoke at that same evening.

Can anyone Join?

Yes, we encourage women from all walks of life to join us in our efforts to build character in each other. They must be willing to commit to the outreaches and be open for a life changing experience in Christ.
